How it works
We make it quick to reach a paver contractor that serves your address.
You call or send a request
Tell us your town and what you need: a new patio, a walkway or driveway, a fire pit patio, a retaining wall or steps, or pavers that have heaved, sunk or come loose.
We connect you with a local company
Calls and requests go to an independent paver and hardscape contractor that works in Rapid City and the surrounding Black Hills.
The company handles the job
They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.
What we are and aren't
Rapid City Paver Patios is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.
South Dakota has no statewide trade license for paver or landscape contractors. The state does require a contractor's excise tax license for anyone who builds patios, walkways, driveways or retaining walls, but that is a tax license, not a skills credential. Inside Rapid City, the city licenses contractors and warns homeowners that a claimed state license is usually just the excise tax license. Ask whether the contractor is licensed with the City of Rapid City (if you live there), who will request the South Dakota 811 locate, who pulls any permit, and get a written quote that lists base depth, materials, edge restraint, drainage and warranty.
